- Cut the divider based off of your template
- There is a small lip at the bottom of the cooler that can be a bit tricky to work with. Also, note that the dimensions of the cooler will not be perfect.
- Again, I brought up the divider as high as possible to prevent as much cold air from escaping the beverage side of the build. Be sure to make sure the lid can close all the way.
- Note the placement of the divider as it relates to the drain. There is next to no free space in my design which is takes a lot of planning to pull off, but it is worth it.
- In the last picture, we cut the space for the head unit to fit into the top panel and use a file to make it a tight fit.
This blog was created to share my experiences, photos, tips, and products for building a custom cooler radio. I have found many videos and a few blogs on the matter, but not to the detail I would have liked. This is my mission. Enjoy!
